Interested in working for a hot new retail concept? Come to our Freshii recruitment fair on 9/22, at 3:30pm. Freshii is a quick service healthy food restaurant, opening a brand new store in the SF financial district. They are looking to hire energetic, outgoing individuals who are excited to talk about healthy food and love interacting with people. Retail customer service experience preferred, but not required. Must be aged 18-21 years old.

Homework Leader
The Homework Leader provides assistance to children ages 6-11 with homework completion and facilities enrichment activities for the program. The ideal candidate is a college student or recent college graduate who is seeking a future career in working with youth, being a teacher, or interested in human development/child development.
HS Diploma and college level experience in Child Development/Education or related field A.A. preferred Min 1 year experience creating or executing lesson plans in a classroom environment preferred Strong, out-going personality and sense of humor Demonstrated history of reliability, accountability, and responsibility Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative style Commitment to the community and the mission of RDNC Commitment to high professional ethical standards Commitment to and a high comfort level working in a diverse environment, sensitivity to diversity
IMPORTANT:
As part of the application process all applicants will be required to submit a sample lesson plan for a proposed enrichment activity in the after-school program enrichment clubs. The sample lesson plan should follow the following guidelines:
The lesson plan should outline a single lesson plan for an enrichment activity lasting approximately 1.5 hours. This lesson should be appropriate for a single grade level (K-5) This sample should consist of a lesson plan in one of the following areas: literacy, science/nature, cooking/nutrition, or youth development/service learning The plan should include the target grade level, student learning objectives, target concepts and skills, and an outline of the activity. Be sure to account for budgetary needs including materials, additional resources and staff support needed to complete this lesson. You may include a plan for evaluation and assessment, as well as any follow-up activities or lessons that may help concretize the main concepts of the activity, though this is not required. Lesson plan should be no more than THREE pages in length If selected for an in-person interview, you will be required to demonstrate a sample presentation of this lesson that should last no longer than 10 minutes.
