Dates/Times: July 19th – August 6th / Monday through Friday 9 am- 4 pm
Other:Orientation July 12th 6pm – 8 pm
About:Now in its 4th year, this UCSF program encourages high school students in the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD), particularly those who may be the first in their families to pursue a 4-year college degree, to explore health care careers and receive guidance for college.

The Program Investigating Training and Careers in Health is an opportunity for incoming high school juniors to:

  • Spend three weeks at UCSF exploring careers in health and medicine
  • learn about educational pathways that lead to different careers, and
  • Strengthen skills that will help you along your way
  • Requirements:

  • Incoming SFUSD high school junior
  • Minimum GPA of 2.0
  • Able to attend entire program, July 19th –August 6th, Monday – Friday, 9 am – 4pm every day
